Thermal account
Le nostre categorie prodotto
The Thermal Account is a cash loan provided for the purchase of stoves, fireplaces and biomass boilers that meet certain criteria and are installed in place of some types of existing heating systems.
In order for a product to benefit from the incentives of the Thermal Account, it must have a Declaration of Conformity to the Thermal Account, demonstrating that it complies with rigorous quality standards, both in terms of efficiency (above 85%) and atmospheric emissions.
In the case of replacing a biomass generator, the new generator must be certified with at least 4 environmental stars.
In the case of replacing a non-biomass generator (or for a new installation in agricultural or forestry companies), the new generator must be certified with at least 5 environmental stars.
Boilers (EN303-5), pellet stoves/fireplaces/inserts (EN14785) and wood-burning stoves (EN13240) can replace any system, while wood-burning fireplaces/inserts (EN13229) can only replace fireplaces or thermo-fireplaces, both open or closed hearth, or wood stoves, regardless of the heat transfer fluid.
When replacing, it is necessary to respect the conditions relating to the same users, the heated environments, the services provided and the requirements for any oversizing of the replaced system.
For further details, it is advisable to investigate and verify with a professional the complete compliance with the requirements established by the GSE application rules of the Thermal Account.
It is important to note that the Thermal Account is not a tax deduction, but an incentive paid directly by the GSE (Energy Services Manager) to the applicant in a single solution for contributions less than or equal to €5,000 (therefore in practically all cases of stoves , fireplaces) or in two annual installments for contributions exceeding €5,000. The incentive is paid approximately 2 months after the activation date of the contract. For further information on the Thermal Account for pellet stoves, you can consult a specific study.
In order for a product to benefit from the Thermal Account incentives, it must have the Declaration of Conformity to the Thermal Account , demonstrating that it complies with extremely rigorous quality standards, both in terms of efficiency (above 85%) and emissions. in the atmosphere.
If it is a replacement of a biomass generator, the new generator must be certified with at least 4 environmental stars or higher. In the case of replacing a non-biomass generator (or for a new installation in agricultural or forestry companies), certification with at least 5 environmental stars is required.
In detail, boilers (EN303-5), pellet stoves/fireplaces/inserts (EN14785) and wood stoves (EN13240) can replace any system. On the contrary, wood-burning fireplaces/inserts (EN13229) are only suitable to replace “exclusively fireplaces or thermo-fireplaces with both open and closed hearths, or wood-burning stoves, regardless of the heat transfer fluid”.
In the replacement process, it is essential to respect the conditions relating to the users themselves, the heated environments and the services provided, as well as the requirements for possible oversizing of the system to be replaced.
Inside the product pages you will find a section to calculate the incentive relating to the product in relation to the installation area.
The financing that can be obtained varies based on the following factors:
It is therefore intuitive to understand that a product with high efficiency and low atmospheric emissions, installed in a particularly cold climatic area, will receive a more substantial contribution than a product with lower performance placed in a warmer area
The GSE (Energy Services Manager) is the body responsible for evaluating applications and distributing contributions for the Thermal Account. All the information and procedures for requesting the incentive are available on the “Portaltermico” .
Inside Portaltermico, there is an application form which must be completed exclusively online by the responsible person or his delegate.
With the introduction of the Thermal Account 2.0, the procedure has been simplified, offering a catalog of generators pre-qualified by the GSE, which already contains all the data necessary for completing the application. Therefore, detailed knowledge of every technical aspect of a pre-qualified product is not required to complete the procedure.
The application must be submitted within 60 days of the completion date of the intervention . It is important to note that the completion date of the intervention cannot exceed 90 days from the date of the last payment made.
The investigation conducted by the GSE concludes within 60 days of receipt of the request, considering the time necessary for the Responsible Party to provide any additions and/or observations.
In the event of a positive outcome of the investigation, a contract form will be stipulated between the user and the GSE, with the obligation to keep the documentation for the entire duration of the incentive and for the following 5 years.
The first installment of the incentive will be paid by the last day of the month following the two-month period in which the date of acceptance of the contract form falls.
